The Beacon Lilly & Gert’s in Port Clinton was the recipient of a RISE Small Business Innovation Grant. The Ottawa County Improvement Corporation (OCIC) launched the Regional Incubator for Sustainability and Entrepreneurship (RISE) Small Business Innovation Grant program in early October, and this week the 23 much-needed grants were awarded to businesses around Ottawa County. The RISE Grant Program is providing $61,985 in funding to support Ottawa County small businesses in pursuit of sustainability and growth. There was special consideration for those impacted by the recent public health emergency.
