The RSPCA is still looking to find a home for Bella the beagle and lurcher cross who has waited 17 months in kennels to find her forever home. Bella came into the care of RSPCA Millbrook Animal Centre in Chobham, Surrey, in February 2020 after she had been in four different homes by the time she was just seven months old. Being passed from one owner to another in such a short space of time and at such a critical point in her development as a puppy, has left her with some emotional scars. However, the behaviourist team at RSPCA Millbrook have been working hard to improve Bella’s socialisation and confidence and now hope she will find the loving forever home she deserves.

Although the public remained passionately divided until the end, the Avon Town Council passed an ordinance Tuesday night allowing the use of off-highway vehicles on public roads in the Wildridge subdivision. The new ordinance will go into effect in 30 days.
The decision came following months of discussion over the topic, including hundreds of public comments on both sides of the debate. The Town Council passed the ordinance on first reading, with a few amendments, earlier this month. Ultimately, the ordinance will legalize a practice that has been a core part of the subdivision’s culture for many of its residents.
