Artist needed for new Marblehead mural project
The new Public Arts Committee is launching its first project with A Call for Artists

A mural hung on the side of Gene Arnould’s Gallery & Framery has sparked a movement and launched a public arts committee that has recently issued a call for artists.
Peyton Pugmire, owner of Creative Spirit, is chairman of the newly created Public Arts Committee, which lives under the auspices of the Marblehead Chamber of Commerce. He, along with Kiki Taron Kinney, vice president of Marblehead Festival of Arts, Marblehead Museum Executive Director Lauren McCormack, and others were inspired by last fall’s event when artist Jeremey Barnett created a temporary mural for Arnould’s business.
