Survivors of human trafficking will support others traumatized by that crime with more than half a million dollars in funding announced by the Ontario government here on Friday.
Associate Minister of Children and Women’s Issues Jill Dunlop joined local MPP and Municipal Affairs Minister Steve Clark at Brockville’s police station to announce the province is investing more than $586,000, over the next five years, to create a new community-based wellness and recovery program for young victims and survivors of human trafficking in the region.
