Antarctica exhibit pairs art with science at PMA Mike Roberts A photography exhibit at the Pensacola Museum of Art blurs the line between science and art. Running through April 4, “Antarctica: Seasons of Water and Ice” is a chilling document of the continent’s ice-covered idyll taken by Wade Jeffrey during two research expeditions in 2019.   “I think I have a little bit of an artistic eye,” said Jeffrey, an oceanographer and a Distinguished University Professor at UWF. Jeffrey also is the director of UWF’s Center for Environmental Diagnostics and Bioremediation, which facilitates modern biological research.   “It was very much the interaction of the science and the arts that allowed me to go there in the first place,” he continued. “Some of the things that captured my eye have some scientific underlining that made them interesting.”
