Coastguards and medics were scrambled to two medical emergencies on the Purbeck coast in a short space of time. The first call at 1.15pm on Saturday saw rescuers respond to a walker in a remote location who had a tight chest feeling and related breathing difficulties. A spokesman for Kimmeridge Coastguard said: With back up from the rest of our team and our colleagues at St Alban s Coastguard Rescue Team we located the casualty from a provided map reference between Chapman s Pool and Kimmeridge. After guiding the ambulance and paramedic car to the casualty and transferring him into their care the teams escorted the ambulance crew back across the fields onto the road.
