If you owned a superyacht in 2020, you’re likely to have spent a lot more time on board than ever before. You may also have spent more time wondering why you couldn’t just live like this – blissfully isolated, wrapped in luxury and free – fulltime.
“Yes: Covid-19 is encouraging owners to spend more time on their yachts and maintain the correct distance from crowds,” says Stefano de Vivo, chief commercial officer of Italian superyacht-building powerhouse the Ferretti Group. And spending more time onboard means an ‘increase in requirements’ from your yacht.
