Suspicious death investigated in Elida
ELIDA The Lucas County Coroner’s Office is investigating the suspicious death of an Elida man.
According to the Allen County Sheriff’s Office, Jaden L. Oglesbee, 47, was found unresponsive inside 5720 Clover Ridge Drive in Elida. A relative contacted authorities around 10:30 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 26.
Due to the circumstances reported to investigating deputies, Oglesbee’s death is being investigated as being “suspicious in nature.”
Oglesbee lived at that house in Elida with his parents.
His body was transported to the Lucas County Coroner’s Office for an autopsy.
The death remains under investigation, and no suspects have been taken into custody.

Sheriff investigating suspicious death Police investigation
ELIDA On Saturday at approximately 10:30 p.m., the Allen County
Sheriff’s Office received a complaint regarding an unresponsive male at
the residence of 5720 Clover Ridge Drive in Elida.
Upon the
arrival of deputies and EMS, they found Jaden L. Oglesbee unresponsive
inside the home. He was transported to Mercy Health, where he was
declared deceased.
Due to the circumstances reported to
investigating deputies, Oglesbee’s death is being investigated as
suspicious in nature. His body was transported to the Lucas County
Coroner’s Office for an autopsy.
This is an ongoing investigation
and no suspects have been taken into custody. Additional details will be

MARION, Ohio The Marion Police Department says a husband and wife are dead after an apparent murder-suicide.
Officers responded Saturday around 5:15 p.m. to a report of two people who were found dead inside a garage at a home on East Center Street.
Authorities have identified the two people as 42-year-old Amy Berry and 44-year-old Max Berry. According to police, the couple lived at the home.
Police say Max Berry shot and killed his wife before killing himself.
“This is a horrible tragedy in every conceivable way, said Marion Police Major Jeff Clewell.
The bodies of Amy and Max Berry have been taken to the Lucas County Coroner s Office for autopsies. An official cause and manner of death will be determined by the Marion County Coroner s Office.

MARION, Ohio (AP) - Authorities in Ohio are calling the deaths of a husband and wife found in the garage of their Marion home over the weekend an apparent murder-suicide.
Lt. B. J. Gruber of the Marion police department said preliminary information has led investigators to believe that Max Berry, 44, shot and killed Amy Berry, 42, before shooting himself, police said in a news release.
A relative found the couple’s bodies in the garage of the home on the city’s eastern edge shortly after 5 p.m. Saturday, police said.
