NEW IBERIA, La. - The Board of Directors announced the 79th Louisiana Sugar Cane Festival & Fair will be held on its traditional last full weekend of September 23-26, 2021 in New Iberia.
The festival will put into place recommended best practices as per the State Fire Marshal’s guidelines. The schedule of events will be announced at a later date.
As more people are being vaccinated for the coronavirus and municipalities are loosening their COVID restrictions, it s time to slowly (and safely) start enjoying live music again.
The Iberia Cultural Resources Association presents the Acadiana Symphony Orchestra at the New Iberia City Park with Symphony Sunday in the Park: A Century of Sinatra. The concert is scheduled for Sunday, April 11, 2021.

This special outdoor performance is one of the first in the return of live entertainment to Acadiana, and it will feature the Acadiana Symphony Orchestra with a vocal performance by Broadway star Sal Viviano. (If you recall his last performance with the ASO, Viviano really brings the Sinatra!).
