An arrest has been made in connection with the shooting death of a store clerk during an armed robbery in Hazleton.
The Luzerne County District Attorney’s Office on Tuesday announced that they have filed charges that include homicide against Jafet Rodriguez, 40, of Hazleton, WNEP is reporting.
He has been charged in connection with the death of 50-year-old Ashokkumar Patel, who was gunned down while working at Craig’s Food Mart Dec. 12.
Investigators say they identified Rodriguez as the man spotted on security cameras in the store.
