Deputies responded to the school after reports of a student having a weapon. According to the sheriff, a 16-year-old male student was reported to be in possession of the gun but had taken a transition bus from the school to Louis Miller Terrebonne Career Technical High School. The student was taken into custody at Louis Miller Terrebonne Career Technical High School. The sheriff said the 16-year-old had attempted to sell the gun to another student. When he was unsuccessful, he gave the weapon to a second 16-year-old male. The second 16-year-old was taken into custody and the weapon was recovered
