TRACKING THE COVID-19 VACCINE Share Updated: 4:23 PM EDT Apr 14, 2021 WLKY Digital Team Louisville police are investigating after a body was pulled from the Ohio River near the Portland neighborhood.The body was discovered Wednesday afternoon in the river near 27th Street, according to a spokesperson with the Louisville Metro Police Department.Few details were released except that police were notified around noon about a body floating near the LG&E generating site. River patrol then recovered the body.Officials said they are awaiting autopsy results on the body. The gender of the body is unclear at this time and additional details about death investigation were not released.Updates are expected from police.
