LE CENTER, Minn. One person is dead and another man is in custody after a house fire early Sunday morning in Le Center, Minnesota.
According to the Le Sueur County Sheriff s Office, fire crews responded to a structure fire around 7:15 a.m. on the 37700 block of Hunting Preserve Lane.
Authorities say they located a deceased man inside the residence, who officials believe is 64-year-old Bruce Alan Traxler, a resident of the home.
Further investigation led to the arrest of a 25-year-old man on probable cause second-degree murder and arson. The Le Sueur County Sheriff says the suspect will likely appear in court Tuesday on those charges.

A man has been arrested in connection with a suspected murder and arson after investigators found a body at the site of a structure fire Sunday morning in south-central Minnesota.
According to the Le Sueur County Sheriff s Office, deputies responded to a report of a structure fire around 7:15 a.m. at 37722 Hunting Preserve Lane in Le Center. Investigators found the deceased body of a man who is believed to be the resident of the address, 64-year-old Bruce Alan Traxler.
Police later took Hardy Robert Wills-Traxler, 25, of Le Center, into custody on suspicion of second-degree murder and arson; he has not been formally charged. He is scheduled to appear in Le Sueur County District Court on Tuesday.
Arson is suspected in a fatal house fire southwest of the Twin Cities that killed a man and has a younger relative in jail, authorities said. The blaze in Le Center was reported to the Le Sueur County Sheriff's Office about 7:15 a.m. Sunday at a home in the 37700 block of Hunting Preserve Lane.
