Body of missing Richland County teen girl found, sheriff says. Suspect sought Noah Feit, The State (Columbia, S.C.)
Apr. 29 The search for a missing teenager ended when her body was discovered early Thursday morning, Richland County Sheriff Leon Lott said.
Now, two other teenagers are facing kidnapping and, probably, murder charges, the sheriff said. One has been arrested, and the community is being asked to help find the other.
Sanaa (pronounced sa-ni-ya) Amenhotep, 15, was found in woods near Interstate 20, Lexington County Coroner Margaret Fisher said. I told her parents we would bring her home. Unfortunately it wasn t the way we hoped and prayed to bring her, Lott said at a news conference.

LEXINGTON, S.C. (WIS) - The Lexington County Sheriffâs Department has arrested a Gaston man for possession of more than 400 grams of cocaine.
Shakur Hakeem, 46, has been charged with trafficking cocaine, possession of more than 15 MDMA pills, possession of marijuana, and three counts of possession of a firearm during a violent crime.
âDeputies conducted a traffic stop on Hakeem Thursday,â Lexington County Sheriff Jay Koon said. âThey seized two ounces of marijuana and more than $6,000 in cash.â

COLUMBIA, S.C. (WIS) - Deputies said a Columbia teenager who was missing for more than three weeks was found dead Wednesday night in Lexington County.
Sanaa Amenhotep, who was just 15 years old, was last seen April 5 when she left her house in northeast Columbia with another teen girl and two males. Her body was found off of Rish Drive in Lexington County. (Source: WIS TV)

COLUMBIA, SC (WOLO)– The Lexington County Sheriff’s Department says a Gaston has been arrested after deputies found over 400 grams of cocaine and a gun during a traffic stop Thursday. Deputies say 46-year-old Shakue Hakeem has been charged with trafficking cocaine, three counts of possession of a firearm during a violent crime, possession of more than 15 MDMA pills and possession of marijuana.

COLUMBIA, S.C. Richland County Sheriff Leon Lott says a missing 15-year-old girl has been found dead and officers believe she was murdered. He also announced they ve arrested one suspect and are looking for another in the case.
Lott said Thursday morning that Sanaa Amenhotep s body was discovered in Lexington County hours earlier. He said he broke the news to Amenhotep s family shortly after the discovery. Unfortunately we didn t bring her home the way we wish that we could, Lott said.
She was found in a wooded area off Interstate 20 in the Batesburg-Leesville area.
