Power back on in Turin following overnight fire

TURIN, N.Y. (WWNY) - Residents in the village of Turn are being asked to conserve water after a large fire at an empty building overnight.
Electricity was out for about 250 customers in the village and surrounding area for several hours because of the fire. Power was restored around mid-morning Thursday.
The call come in around 11:15 p.m. Wednesday. Fire crews worked to protect surrounding homes.
State Route 26 was still closed around 11:30 p.m. between Potters Corners on Route 12D and West Road. It was still closed as of 10:30 a.m. Thursday.
