A virtual farm walk is taking place on James King’s farm in Ballymena, Co Antrim on Wednesday 10 March 2021.
James runs 195 Holstein cows in a predominantly autumn calving system.
Topics covered during the event will include plans for getting cows out to grass, improving soil fertility, nutrient management plans and managing grass throughout the grazing season.
Speakers at the event include host farmer James King, Dairylink Ireland adviser Aidan Cushnahan and Niall McCarron from Lakeland Dairies.

Aurivo s milk products will be sold under Aldi s Clonbawn own brand
Co Sligo-based co-op Aurivo has secured a new €3.3m contract to supply fresh Irish milk to Aldi stores in Ireland.
Under the new contract, Aurivo will provide seven product lines including milk, skimmed milk enriched with Vitamins, protein milk and lactose free milk.
The liquid milk products will be sold under Aldi s Clonbawn own brand.
The milk is 100% farmed and processed in Ireland and features the National Dairy Council logo on its packaging.
Aurivo is the second largest liquid milk processor in the country and has partnered with Aldi since 2013, providing several dairy products including the supermarket s Kilkeely Gold spreadable butter.
