Mid-tier law firms are outpacing the top end of town on partner promotions for women and leading the push to gender equity in the top ranks of the profession, according to the latest Australian Financial Review Law Partnership Survey.
Four of the five firms with at least 40 per cent female partners are mid-tiers: Lander & Rogers (45 per cent), Cooper Grace Ward (41 per cent), Moray & Agnew (40 per cent) and Russell Kennedy Lawyers (40 per cent).
