Lehigh Valley to New York City train service part of Amtrak’s vision for 2035

President Joe Biden’s proposed $2.3 trillion infrastructure plan unveiled Wednesday includes a longtime Lehigh Valley wish-list item for commuters: passenger rail service to New York City.
Biden’s plan includes $80 billion for rail. Amtrak calls it a “vision for 2035″ that would add 20 million more passengers over 15 years, via more than 30 new routes and more trips on more than 20 existing routes.

More than 500K-square-foot warehouse going up in Bethlehem, Lower Nazareth townships

And now another 527,500 square feet is coming to land straddling Lower Nazareth and Bethlehem townships.
On Monday. the Bethlehem Township Board of Commissioners unanimously approved final land development for the proposed Lehigh Valley Trade Center II.
The Lower Nazareth Township Board of Supervisors approved final land development for the project last week.
Developer Trammell Crow Co. will consolidate 12 land parcels for a combined 38-acre lot to build the proposed warehouse. About 30.5 of those acres are located in Lower Nazareth Township.
The property is on Hanoverville Road and also borders Township Line Road and Flora Lane.
