An Elliot Lake woman has received a great honour from an international organization. Faye Steel has been made an honorary member of the Lochaber Rotary Club in Scotland. Faye Steel’s late husband Charlie Steel, who died in 2011, was a founding member of the Lochaber Rotary Club in 1950. He was the last surviving charter member of the Lochaber Rotary Club. Charlie was also a member of the Rotary Club of Elliot Lake for about 44 years.
