Lahaina Cannery announces weekly hula show

Enjoy hula shows by Maui halau on Wednesdays from 4 to 5 p.m. at Lahaina Cannery Mall.
LAHAINA Lahaina Cannery invites residents and visitors to a free hula show with talented Maui hula halau performing every Wednesday from 4 to 5 p.m. The free cultural entertainment takes place outside on the lawn near the front entrance of the center. Visitors are encouraged to bring a chair or blanket to enjoy the show with take-out dining options at Jersey Mike’s or HI Food Carts offering a variety of food trucks. Other free family entertainment includes Lahaina Art Shows, presented by Lahaina Arts Society and featuring local Maui artists, every Saturday and Sunday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on the lawn.
Lahaina Arts Society to celebrate its gallery reopening

LAHAINA Lahaina Arts Society’s Banyan Tree Gallery is holding its Grand Reopening on Saturday, April 24. Located on the first floor of the Old Lahaina Courthouse, the gallery will be open 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. daily. For 53 years, the Banyan Tree Gallery has been an international destination for art lovers and collectors. “We are excited to showcase our artists’ latest creations in our freshly painted and reimagined gallery,” said William F. Smith III, executive director of Lahaina Arts Society. “Everyone is welcome, and private gallery showings are available upon request,” he continued.
Lahaina Cannery to host bingo and crafts for keiki

LAHAINA Lahaina Cannery is pleased to invite Maui residents and visitors to partake in some Valentine’s Day family fun and games on Saturday, Feb. 13. From 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., parents are encouraged to bring their keiki ages ten and under to the center for in-person and socially distanced Be Mine Bingo and crafts. All craft materials will be provided for individual use, and prizes awarded to bingo winners. Plus, each participant will receive a Valentine’s Day treat. Lahaina Cannery hosts Christmas crafts for keiki

LAHAINA Lahaina Cannery invites Maui residents and visitors to participate in some holiday family fun with Christmas crafts for keiki every Saturday in December leading up to Christmas. Parents can bring their keiki age ten and under to Lahaina Cannery for in-person and socially distanced Christmas Crafts on Dec. 12 and 19 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Activities include happy holidays coloring pages and Christmas stocking decorating. All decorating materials will be provided inside each individual stocking. Plus, keiki can also enter to win in a Holiday Giveaway and candy bag once crafts are completed.
