Surfer dies after being pulled Oahu’s Laniakea Beach (Image: Hawaii News Now) By HNN Staff | March 7, 2021 at 10:28 AM HST - Updated March 7 at 2:28 PM HONOLULU, Hawaii (HawaiiNewsNow) - Honolulu Emergency Medical Services responded to an unresponsive surfer at Laniakea Beach Sunday morning. Medical personnel arrived at the scene at around 7:30 a.m. The man, possibly in his 50s, was transported to a nearby hospital in critical condition, where he later died.
