Featuring local goods, produce, and crafts for sale, the market will take place 9 a.m.-3 p.m. every Saturday in the downtown parking lot, 200 W. Ocean Ave., corner of West Ocean Avenue and I Street.
Masks will be required at all times, and social distancing protocols will be in effect. At this time, there will be no onsite seating for food consumption. Anyone feeling unwell is asked to stay home.
Those interested in participating as vendors can visit the Lompoc Recreation Division website and download an application at www.cityoflompoc.com/recreation, or to call the recreation division offices, 805-875-8100 from 9 a.m.-5 p.m., Monday through Friday.
Lompoc to plan opening of outdoor market

The City of Lompoc is planning the next steps to start its new Lompoc Outdoor Community Market.
Local businesses and residents are invited to participate in planning workshops with the City in February and March.
The workshops will cover details for the new market including seller s permits, business tax license requirements and the registration process.
Lompoc City Council voted to move forward with the market at its meeting in December.
An opening date for the Lompoc Outdoor Community Market is not set. However, the market will be held Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the downtown parking lot on the corner of Ocean Ave. and I St. It will be open to vendors, crafters and farmers, including other businesses.
