Algoma Public Health’s Board of Health has appointed Dr. John Tuinema as Associate Medical Officer of Health for Algoma Public Health. Board chair, Sally Hagman says starting July 2021, Dr. Tuinema will work under the direction of the Medical Officer of Health, Dr. Jennifer Loo as a public health physician to achieve the public health mandate for the Algoma region.
