Live Here Love Here grants available for east Antrim residents Northern Ireland’s largest community and civic pride campaign, Live Here Love Here, has announced the return of its Small Grants Scheme in partnership with Mid and East Antrim Borough Council and the Northern Ireland Housing Executive. Tuesday, 27th April 2021, 6:12 pm The scheme aims to financially support community based environmental projects across Northern Ireland who need financial support to maintain their efforts for creating a cleaner, greener and safer place to live. Residents across Larne and Carrickfergus are being encouraged to apply, with successful applicants receiving a grant between £500 to £3,000.

Northern Ireland young people who found themselves homeless plea with Stormont for support Orlaith Clinton Politicians are being urged to provide more support for the homeless. The call comes as young people are sharing their harrowing stories of life on the streets being exposed to drugs, alcohol and increasing desperation. They say the Stormont Executive must invest in better support services for young homeless people, including the provision of purpose-built youth accommodation. They ve been supported by the Relentless Change Programme (RCP), run by the Northern Ireland Youth Forum (NIYF) and funded by the National Lottery Community Fund, which supports homeless young people and advocates on their behalf.
