Details emerge on stolen ambulance According to the warrant: On Apr. 29, a 2020 Chevrolet ambulance was stolen from Trans Star Ambulance on Call Field Road. The ambulance was parked inside the bay area with the keys inside. About 7 p.m., employees saw who they described as a disheveled man with dirty blonde hair, blue shirt and blue jeans walking around outside the building. He jumped into the ambulance and drove away. The ambulance was involved in a hit and run accident on Burkburnett Road. A Texas Department of Public Safety Trooper found the ambulance on U.S. 287 north of Highway 240 with a man matching the suspect’s description walking away. The man was detained and identified as Johnny Lee Kelsey.
