PARK RAPIDS, Minn. While the cause of the late Monday night, May 17, fire at Green Valley Bean remains under investigation, Becker County Sheriff Todd Glander said foul play is not suspected.
The bean processing plant, on State Highway 34 west, close to the Hubbard County Line, erupted in flames around 8 p.m. By Tuesday afternoon, the building was reduced to a heap of twisted metal and charred debris, with a faint scent of smoke lingering in the air.

MAPLE GROVE, Minn. Three people including two children are dead after a single-vehicle crash Saturday morning, May 8, in Maple Grove.
Police in the northwest Twin Cities suburb said the crash happened just before 7 a.m. near the corner of Dunkirk and Lawndale lanes, a couple miles west of Interstate 94.
A fourth person in the car, an adult, was taken to a local hospital; information on their condition was not immediately available.
Two people were seriously injured after rolling their ATV in rural Pequot Lakes, MN.
Cass County Sheriff Tom Burch reports that on May 8th at 7:34 p.m., the Cass County Sheriff’s Office received the report of the ATV crash with injuries near 17th Ave SW.
Deputies and responders arrived on scene and learned that an Arctic Cat 500 ATV had been operating on a driveway when the driver made a sharp turn causing the machine to roll, ejecting the occupants off the machine and pinning them underneath the machine. An individual in the area heard the crash and was able to move the machine off the injured parties and began administering aid.
