A main road in Salford has been closed after fire crews were called to an ammonia leak at a food factory.
Langley Road South was shut close to the junction with Owen Street following an incident at the nearby Bidfood plant.
Drivers were urged to avoid the area and there was a large emergency service presence.

Two people have been injured in a stabbing in Oldham this morning (April 12). There is a large police presence in the area close to Rochester Way, on the Crossley Estate in Chadderton.
North West Ambulance Service also attended the scene, taking two people to hospital.
Members of the public are advised to avoid the area while the police operation is ongoing.
A section of Rochester Way has been taped off by police and there are a number of officers at the scene.

The Sainsbury s on Lee Lane in Horwich (Google Maps) A MAN was assaulted with a weapon by a group of youths outside a shop in Horwich on Saturday night. The attack happened at around 9.30pm outside the Sainsbury s store on Lee Lane where a 26-year-old man was assaulted. The victim suffered a head injury and ran into the store while the youths quickly left the scene. No arrests have been made. A Greater Manchester Police spokesman said: Officers were called just after 9.30pm on Saturday to a report of an assault outside Sainsbury s on Lee Lane in Horwich. A 26-year-old man was assaulted with a weapon by a group of youths before he ran into the store with a head injury which is not thought to be serious.
