The first paramedic to enter the blast zone at Manchester Arena after the bomb detonated is giving evidence today at the ongoing public inquiry into the terror atrocity.
Patrick Ennis, a North West Ambulance Service advanced paramedic, was the only paramedic to enter the City Room in the first 40 minutes after the explosion, the inquiry has heard.

Three people have been taken to hospital following a multi-vehicle collision at junction 22 (Rishworth) on the M62 motorway yesterday (Tuesday 16 March).
Two patients were taken to Leeds General Infirmary by the North West Ambulance Service, whilst one was taken to Huddersfield Royal Infirmary by the Yorkshire Ambulance Service.
The collision, which closed a section of the M62 motorway in both directions, involved four HGV lorries and a Ford Fiesta. The eastbound carriageway was closed from junction 20 (Thornham for Rochdale & Oldham) to junction 26 (Bradford), whilst the westbound carriageway was closed from junction 24 (Ainley Top) to junction 21 (Milnrow).

The first paramedic to arrive at Manchester Arena after the bomb detonated said he had no idea of the true scale of the atrocity until he walked into the blast zone.
Patrick Ennis, at the time a North West Ambulance Service advanced paramedic, said he wasn t prepared for the young ages of some of the casualties in the City Room.
