A 29-year-old Pennsylvania woman is facing felony theft charges after she allegedly stole more than $38,000 in lottery tickets while she was working at a Rite Aid in Jackson Township.
Danielle Elaine Miller, of the first block of Lawson Court, West Manchester Township, is charged with theft by unlawful taking of movable property and receiving stolen property, which are felonies.
Miller was arraigned Wednesday before District Judge Thomas J Reilly and released on her own recognizance. A preliminary hearing is scheduled before Reilly on June 4.

Northern Regional Police have contracted to use the training simulator system for five years at a total cost of $125,000, Lash said, for two officers at a time.

A York City man accused of selling marijuana was on house arrest, wearing an electronic ankle cuff and in possession of guns including a ghost gun when police arrested him, authorities allege.
He was also in possession of body armor, according to court documents.
Derren James Williams, 24, of the 100 block of South Albemarle Street, is free on $15,000 bail, charged with five counts of drug possession with intent to deliver and one count unlawful possession of body armor, all felonies, plus lesser drug-possession charges, court records state.
69-year-old man sentenced for selling fatal dose of heroin to York woman

A 69-year-old York man has been sentenced to state prison for his role in selling heroin to a woman who overdosed and died from the drug in 2018.
Peter Kenneth Lucas pleaded guilty in York County on Tuesday the first-degree felony of drug delivery resulting in death, court records state.
As part of a negotiated plea agreement, he was sentenced to five to 15 years in prison and given credit for the 740 days he spent locked up awaiting the resolution of his criminal case, records state.
Presiding Common Pleas Judge Harry M. Ness ordered Lucas to undergo a drug and alcohol evaluation and to comply with recommended counseling.
