Seymour Police Arrest Final Suspect In Ewing Street Shooting – WBIW

 December 10, 2020 (SEYMOUR) – On Wednesday, investigators with the Seymour Police Department arrested the last remaining suspect from an incident that occurred on October 12, 2020, in the 900 block of North Ewing Street in Seymour. Investigators arrested 18-year-old Qwenton Bolden, of Seymour, in Columbus, Indiana. Bolden was wanted on a Jackson Circuit Court warrant for burglary and robbery. Bolden’s arrest stems from an incident that occurred on October 12, 2020, where Bolden, Kianna Deleon, Destinee Brewer, and Bethany Coomer attempted to rob an individual of their marijuana and money. Bolden and his acquaintances forced their way into the home armed with a stolen handgun. Once inside, there was a physical struggle. At one point during the struggle, firearms were brought into action resulting in Bolden being shot.

Final arrest made in drug-related robbery Qwenton Bolden Staff Reports The Seymour Police Department has made another arrest in connection with an Oct. 12 drug-related robbery on North Ewing Street that led to a man suffering a gunshot wound. Qwenton L. Bolden, 18, of Seymour is the sixth person to be arrested for involvement in the incident. He was arrested Tuesday in Columbus on a Jackson Circuit Court warrant, according to a news release from Lt. C.J. Foster. Bolden, who faces charges of burglary with a deadly weapon, a Level 2 felony, and armed robbery, a Level 3 felony, is the last remaining person to be arrested in the investigation, Foster said.
