Two members were reported on the sicklist: Mrs. Dora Waterhouse and her sister Mrs. Anna Caswell. It was voted to give a banquet to the Auburn newsboys and the reporters at both the Lewiston Journal and Lewiston Sun. The date of the banquet is not decided. A committee appointed on this will include Mrs. Edith Briggs. Mrs. Emma Patterson, Mrs. Florence Starbird and Mrs. McCallum. 50 Years Ago: 1971 A Lewiston young woman, an honor student at Lewiston High School, has achieved national recognition in the December issue of Teen Magazine. Miss Francine Keneborus, daughter of Mr. and Mrs, John Keneborus of South Ave., Lewston, received the distinction of being chosen from some 500 teens who attended an exciting summer program for high school students at Northwestern University in Evanston, Illinois, last June and is to be quoted in an article covering

The Batesville Area Arts Council is pleased to present the 2021 Small Works on Paper, an annual touring visual arts exhibition coordinated by the Arkansas Arts Council, a division of the Department of Arkansas Heritage, which showcases the work of Arkansas artists. The exhibition will be on display at the BAAC Gallery on Main, 226 E Main St, February 2 – 27, 2021. Gallery hours are Tuesday – Friday 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. and Saturday 10 a.m. – 2 p.m.  “We are excited to be able to recognize the wonderful and diverse talent of visual artists throughout Arkansas,” said Stacy Hurst, secretary for the Arkansas Department of Parks, Heritage and Tourism. “Small Works on Paper showcases artists from every corner of our state and gives art lovers the opportunity to discover emerging artists and experience one-of-a-kind artworks they may otherwise never see.”

Allen R. Keller Allen Robert Keller, 75, passed away Saturday, Jan. 30, 2021, at Penn Med in Philadelphia. At the time of his death, he was a resident of Somers Point, N.J. Al was a native of Corydon and was the son of William H. Keller and Joan Auxier Keller. He was born in Louisville on Aug. 10, 1945. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, William H. Keller III; a sister, Judith Anderson of Lebanon, Ohio; and his fiancée, Sheryl Collins. He is survived by a sister, Nancy Keller of Corydon; his stepdaughter, Terri  Schweighardt; and several nieces and nephews and their families.
