NORTHFIELD The victim of a fatal motorcycle crash Sunday on Millers Falls Road (Route 63) in Northfield has been identified as 35-year-old Justin M. Kickery.
Police responded to the accident scene on Sunday, after a driver traveling south on Route 63 came upon the crash and stopped to call 911 at 8:18 p.m., according to a press release from the Northwestern District Attorney’s Office. Kickery, whose name was not released at the time, was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver who called 911 reportedly stayed on scene until Northfield Police officers and Massachusetts State Police troopers arrived. According to Laurie Loisel, director of communication and outreach with the Northwestern District Attorney’s Office, it is unknown how much time passed between when the accident occurred and when the driver discovered the crash.
