Cloud data technology developer Immuta has raised $90 million in Series D funding, financing the company plans to use to accelerating its product research and development, expand global sales and marketing efforts, and deepen “strategic partnerships within the cloud data ecosystem.”
The latest funding comes less than a year after the company raised $40 million in a Series C funding round and brings its total capital financing to $169 million.

Next-generation data analytics startup Kyligence has closed a $70 million Series D round of funding, the company said Wednesday.
The company said it will use the new funding to “continue powering its global expansion and rapid customer adoption.” The financing will specifically be used to fuel the company’s research and development efforts, especially in developing cloud-native and machine learning technology, the company said.

IBM Thursday strengthened its bid to dominate the business process automation market with its acquisition of highly-regarded Italian software maker myInvenio.
Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
“We have just given partners the biggest weapon they could ever have on tackling this automation opportunity,” Rob Thomas, IBM’s senior vice president of Cloud and Data Platform, told CRN in an exclusive interview.
