Datuk Kamaruddin Mat Desa, a former Bukit Aman deputy Commercial Crime Investigation Department director, is being probed for inviting six on-duty policemen into his house for a meal on the first day of Raya (May 13).
A photo of the policemen eating lemang and ketupat, which was uploaded by Kamaruddin on his Facebook and Twitter, has gone viral.
In the post, Kamaruddin said that the six policemen, from the Section 6 Shah Alam police station, were conducting SOP compliance monitoring when they noticed six vehicles in front of Kamaruddin s house.

KUALA LUMPUR, May 4 ― Datuk Seri Acryl Sani Abdullah Sani will be 60-years-old this year, as he takes on the responsibility as the country’s top cop after he was officially appointed as Inspector-General of Police yesterday.
A graduate in Masters of Science (Management) Degree from Universiti Utara Malaysia, Acryl Sani is a household name, who first started his service in the police force on February 2, 1986 as a Cadet Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP).
