University Of Wyoming Teton STEM Academy Will Travel To Mars This Summer

This summer, the University of Wyoming will host the Teton STEM Academy, a science camp for high school students. The camp is free of charge and will be held in person from July 10 to 18. Chip Kobulnicky, a UW astronomy professor and co-director of the Teton STEM Academy, said the camp aims to show students all of the scientific disciplines. We will cover life science, the physical sciences, math and engineering, he said. We wrap up all of these themes under a general heading of planning a journey to Mars. Kobulnicky said a journey to Mars involves conquering all kinds of different science challenges.
