FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. (WTVD) The controversial selection of Darrell Allison has spilled over into the student body at Fayetteville State University.
On Friday afternoon, more than a dozen students gathered on campus for a march and speech about the selection process and other matters they would like to see addressed by the N.C. Board of Governors and FSU Board of Trustees.
Sydney Harris, the Student Government Association President, helped organize the event, calling for more transparency and collaboration within future chancellor selections. The policy. it allows too much input from the Board of Trustees and the Board of Governors and not enough input from the chancellor of search committee itself, Harris said.

Slam Dunk contest (halftime)
2nd half of All-Star Game
There s no Rising Stars game this year, though the league did release the prospective rosters. Fans will have to use their imagination (or a video game) to envision what Zion Williamson catching a lob from LaMelo Ball and dunking the ball
through soon-to-be-30-year-old Denver Nuggets rookie Facundo Campazzo might look like.
The All-Star Celebrity Game, the least important but perhaps most emblematic event in non-pandemic years, was also left on the cutting room floor - a slap in the face for the Disney Channel stars and celebrity chefs who d hoped to hear their names called.
