WELCOME A celebration of life service for Stanley D. Mattson, 79, of Welcome, will be held 11 a.m. Saturday at Kramer Family Funeral Home, 704 First St. in Welcome. Military honors, by the Welcome American Legion Post 553 and Nassen-Detert American Legion Post 539 of Ceylon, will be offered outside the funeral home right after the service. Burial will be in West Sveadahl Cemetery, rural St. James.
Mattson died Monday, May 3, 2021, at Goldfinch Estates in Fairmont, following a battle with cancer. Kramer Family Funeral Home in Welcome is in charge of arrangements.

FAIRMONT A private family service for Robert “Tubby” Earnest Gerhardt, 88, of Fairmont, formerly of Welcome, will be held at Grace Lutheran Church in Fairmont with military honors provided by the Welcome American Legion Post 533. Gerhardt died Monday afternoon, Dec. 28, 2020, at the Minnesota Veterans Home in Luverne, Minn. Lakeview Funeral Home and Cremation Service in Fairmont is assisting the family with arrangements.

Larson died Tuesday evening, Dec. 15, 2020, at Goldfinch Memory Care in Fairmont. A public visitation will be held 4-6 p.m. Sunday at the Lakeview Funeral Home in Fairmont. Due to COVID-19 guidelines, social distancing guidelines will be observed, masks are encouraged, and the number of guests will be monitored.
