My Canadian pride and love of the genre meant long nights playing with Scott, Ramona, and the gang with my husband after work. Some nights was grinding for loonies, other nights replaying a boss fight in the hopes of unlocking trophies.

Originally, Scott Pilgrim VS The World released alongside the movie of the same name, which is in turn based on Bryan Lee O’Malley’s Scott Pilgrim series of graphic novels.
Scott Pilgrim: The Game mysterious disappeared from online stores in 2013, but is now returning to as many modern platforms as possible. Scott Pilgrim VS The World: The Game – Complete Edition contains both the core game and the Knives Chau and Wallace Wells DLC.

Mighty Flip Champs. It seems, however, that the majority of the missing games have now returned to the digital storefront. According to Delisted Games, more than 250 games were removed in total, and now just five of those have yet to return:

Word Searcher 3. The games that returned were added back in batches, so it s possible that these last missing titles could eventually return, as well.
The news should be a relief for fans of DSi software, as well as those interested in video game preservation. While digital marketplaces such as the eShop have provided developers and publishers a cheaper alternative to physical releases, it can also mean that the game can be lost to time once it s removed from the platform; a number of gamers prefer physical video game releases for this very reason. To begin this week, a word of condolence to a tireless person who we lost at the end of 2020: Brian Cooper, aka the person who ran the Japanese Nintendo site, passed suddenly on November 27. It s hard to follow up something like that, but we ll try - the big game of the week is Scott Pilgrim vs The World: Complete Edition being brought back - and since there s open preorders for SIX WEEKS over at Limited Run Games this Friday, there ll always be a physical version too. Rhythm Fighter looks promising as well this week, and one I m curious enough to splash out for is the first wrestling game to come out on Switch that isn t at least 25 years old in Wrestling Empire. Even if it s quite sus, it surely can t be worse than WWE 2k18, can it?
