CLEARWATER, Fla., March 11, 2021 /PRNewswire/ (ISC)² – the world s largest nonprofit association of certified cybersecurity professionals – today announced that capacity for more than 100 students is now available through December 2021 for the University of Mary Washington s (UMW) (ISC)
2 cybersecurity certification preparation course. The program is formatted for evening and weekend classes to provide high quality cybersecurity education to working professionals who require schedule flexibility.
Launched in 2020 in part through a $110,000 grant from the Virginia Initiative for Growth and Opportunity (GO Virginia), the UMW program is led by authorized (ISC)

Despite Gov. Roy Cooper’s critical role leading Democrat governors nationwide, he has remained mostly silent on the growing scandals engulfing New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo.
Calls are mounting from fellow Democrats for the three-term governor of New York to resign. Cuomo is embroiled in scandals that involve sending COVID-19 infected patients into nursing homes as well as an attempted cover-up of his actions. Cuomo currently faces multiple accusations of alleged sexual harassment as well.
Cooper, however, told Politico recently, in response to question of whether Cuomo should resign, said, “It’s a lesson that our actions and words matter. There should be a full investigation.”

VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. - As the weather steadily gets warmer, John Mannino has hope. I think it s going to be a good summer, said the chef and owner of Mannino s Italian Bistro before adding, Hopefully.
Mannino and his business partners opened Mannino s Oceanfront location on Atlantic Avenue six years ago. He also owns a Mannino s location on Princess Anne Road and Fish and Slips on the harbor in Portsmouth.
Just as it did for so many restaurants, the COVID-19 pandemic did a number on Mannino s businesses, but the Virginia Beach resort area was especially hit hard.
