OGDENSBURG — Jasmine M. Brien, hoping to make a difference in the ongoing fight against COVID-19, embarked on a new career path as a traveling respiratory therapist in late September. A native of Ogdensburg, Ms. Brien has worked as a respiratory therapist for nearly four years — a career she’s found both fulfilling and rewarding, but felt she could continue to help others in greater need elsewhere. “I didn’t want to just go to work for a paycheck,” Ms. Brien said. “I wanted to do something where if I passed away tomorrow, I know I would’ve made a difference in somebody’s life.”
