What to expect on your return to an open Lumen Field

What to expect on your return to an ‘open’ Lumen Field Share this story So, it’s been a while. You’re fully vaccinated, and you’re itching to head to Lumen Field and scream at the top of your unmasked lungs. Wednesday’s match against Real Salt Lake will present the first chance for fans en masse to populate the lower bowl to support the Sounders unfiltered for the first time since a March 7, 2020 match against the Columbus Crew. The last couple of matches against Atlanta United and Austin FC provided a bit of a dry run, with the supporters’ section open to those who have been fully vaccinated. Things scale up significantly, however, with the entire lower bowl open to vaccinated fans for the next three games, through the July 7 match against the Houston Dynamo. The Sounders’ phased approach is designed to allow them to ramp up, as the state of Washington prepares to fully reopen on June 30.

No deal to keep Swedish primary care clinic open on Bainbridge

View Comments BAINBRIDGE ISLAND – Swedish Medical Group has confirmed that it will close its primary care clinic on Hildebrand Lane this summer, leaving a swath of patients looking for new health care providers. Swedish said it had attempted to find a new provider to take over its Bainbridge clinic but no deal emerged from those efforts. A message sent to patients last week by Swedish officials confirmed that the clinic will permanently close on July 2. “Swedish Medical Group’s departure from Bainbridge Island was a difficult but necessary decision for Swedish Medical Group as we continue striving for long-term sustainability of high-quality patient care,” the message said. “Over the past six months, since our initial communication about the impending closure, we hosted discussions with multiple providers in an effort to secure an agreement with a viable healthcare organization to carry on clinic operations. Unfortunately, we were not able to solidify a deal.”
