RICHMOND, VA – The Virginia Union University Board of Trustees voted, during its May 2021 meeting, to invest over $8.9 million in the suitability of the university. The investment will improve the quality of education and life for students, staff, and faculty, through actions including the creation of new degree programs and the expansion of the campus. This historically significant investment is crucial in meeting VUU’s Strategic Goal of becoming a Best-in-Class university and being recognized as a top Historically Black College and University (HBCU).

The Virginia Society of Certified Public Accountants announced the winners of the 2021 VSCPA Distinguished CPA Awards.
Each year, VSCPA members nominate CPAs to recognize their professional and personal accomplishments as well as commitment to service, diversity and innovation.
Honorees will be recognized during the VSCPA Virtual Leaders’ Summit on May 13.
