The Virginia Department of Health released their daily updated numbers involving COVID-19 cases within the state.
According to their website, there are now 674,082 total cases, 524,545 of which are confirmed and 149,537 are probable. There are 11,143 total COVID-19 related deaths, with 9,405 being confirmed and 1,738 being probable. The case numbers are up by 323, and deaths are up by 6 since Tuesday.
A total of 7,380,543 COVID-19 PCR tests have now been given in Virginia.
As of Wednesday Virginia has given a total of 7,979,477 COVID-19 vaccines. That is 41,100 statewide doses given in a day. Hampton Roads administered 16% of the statewide COVID-19 vaccines given since Tuesday. The table below gives more information about local vaccine distribution.

According to their website, there are now 673,105 total cases, 523,822 of which are confirmed and 149,283 are probable. There are 11,116 total COVID-19 related deaths, with being confirmed and being probable. The case numbers are up by 76, and deaths are up by 10 since Sunday.
This is the first time since the health department started tracking pandemic data that Virginia has seen below 100 COVID-19 cases in a day since March 26, 2020. March 11, 2020 was the last time under 76 new cases were reported statewide.

RICHMOND, Va. More than 25 additional COVID-19 patients have been discharged from Virginia hospitals in the last 24 hours, according to data from the Virginia Hospital & Healthcare Association (VHHA).
The VHHA reports a total of 55,846 hospitalized COVID-19 patients have been discharged, an increase from 55,820 (+26) patients since Saturday s update.
Hospitalizations have decreased in Virginia over the last 24 hours.
There are currently 543 patients in hospitals who are either positive or whose test results are pending, down from 561 (-18) Saturday, according to the VHHA. Officials said 429 (-24) of those patients have COVID-19 while 114 (+6) have tests pending.
