The VHHA reports a total of 27,471 hospitalized COVID-19 patients have been discharged, an increase from 27,307 (+164) patients since Thursday s update. Hospitalizations have increased in Virginia over the last 24 hours. There are currently 2,409 patients in hospitals who are either positive or whose test results are pending, up from from 2,399 (+10) from Thursday, according to the VHHA. Officials said 2,075 (+86) of those patients have COVID-19 while 334 (-76) have tests pending.
