The Williamsburg Winery has not one, but two wines to ring in the new year.
Sparkling wine, that is.
“Every day is a good day for a bubbly!” Patrick Duffeler, founder of The Williamsburg Winery, said in a prepared statement. “We just launched our sparkling wine program, and it already has an interest and a following.”
The two new, sparkling wines are the 2017 Brut Rosé and the 2017 Blanc de Blanc, courtesy of the winery’s partnership with the Virginia Sparkling Company of Veritas Vineyard & Winery.
The Brut rose is described as “crisp” with strawberry, cherry and vanilla flavors while the Blanc de Blanc has a “creaminess to the finish” with notes of lemon, green apple and pear, according to the winery’s announcement.
