AFP/File ISLAMABAD: Pakistan’s exports to the European Union (EU) grew by over 17 per cent in the first ten months of the current financial year, largely due to the Generalised System of Preferences-Plus (GSP+) scheme. According to data compiled by the ministry of commerce, export proceeds to the EU’s 27 member countries amounted to $7.474 billion during the July-April period against $6.367bn over the same period of the previous financial year. Exports posted a paltry growth in terms of euros. The EU calculates trade figures on the basis of a calendar year January to December.
