ST. CLAIRSVILLE The city’s Main Street will kick off a series of Second Saturday events this weekend, following today’s Food Truck Friday.
St. Clairsville Area Chamber of Commerce Director Wendy Anderson, organizing the event, said excitement is high and all are welcome in the coming months.
“And then we’ll have a Second Saturday in June, July and August, September and October,” she said. “The second Saturday of every month until October.”
Anderson said extensive participation will mark each event, from 10:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.
“We have all-day events. We have a food truck, which is Mason Dixon BBQ. We have Jack’s Ice Cream,” she said. “We have D.J. Daner. He will be providing the music and he will be DJing downtown. We will have sidewalk sales. We will have crafts.”

ST. CLAIRSVILLE St. Clairsville Area Chamber of Commerce Director Wendy Anderson chose to begin the New Year by sharing a message of hope during dark times she has waged a battle with breast cancer through the COVID-19 pandemic, but few would have known by observing her continued efforts to promote area businesses.
“I beat cancer (in 2020). I’m thinking 2021 is going to be better than what I went through,” she said.
