SALISBURY, Md. – A Salisbury-based nonprofit is continuously reminding first responders that they are appreciated.
On Facebook, Operation We Care posted that they delivered lunch to police, health officials, and fire departments in Fruitland, Salisbury, and Delmar. We’re told they delivered 128 lunches on Monday.
Operation We Care says they do this several times a year to remind the men and women serving the community that they always appreciate their dedication and hard work. They say this was a thank you for their service. The meals were in partnership with VFW Meuse Post 194 and Whole Roast Barbecue Services.
