Newly appointed BISTEC Secretary General (SG) Tenzin Lekphell conveyed the congratulation when he paid a courtesy call on Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina at her official Ganabhaban residence in the capital. PM’s Press Secretary Ihsanul Karim briefed the media after the meeting. The BIMSTEC SG also highly appreciated the government of Sheikh Hasina for its tremendous success in Bangladesh’s sociology-economic development, particularly for successfully tackling the Covid-19 pandemic, under her dynamic leadership.
