Ontario reports 3,266 new COVID cases today There have now been more than 200,000 lab-confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Ontario since the start of the pandemic Jan 6, 2021 11:06 AM By: Erika Engel Public Health Ontario has reported 3,266 new cases of COVID-19 today.  The province reported 37 deaths in today s update. Of those, 20 were residents of long-term care homes. Ten of the deaths reported today were individuals between 60 and 79 years old, and 27 were over the age of 80.  Since yesterday, 125 people have been hospitalized with COVID-19, and 11 COVID patients have been admitted to intensive care units.
